First Percussion Ensemble Rehearsal

I would like to thank all 4th and 5th grade percussion ensemble members for attending the first percussion ensemble rehearsal.  Please review the rules and policies sheet with your parents.  The sheets should be signed and returned by Friday, September 18th, 2015.  Above is a video of "Trashin' It Up" to help you while practicing at home.  I look forward to working with the percussion ensemble this year.

First Chorus Rehearsal

I want to thank all of the chorus students who attended the first chorus rehearsal today.  You all sounded amazing. Please don't forget to sign the chorus rules and policies sheet and have your parents sign it as well.  The rule and policies sheet needs to be returned by the next chorus rehearsal on Friday, September 18th, 2015.   The videos for "There's Someone in the Chimney" and "Hip Hop Elves" by Teresa Jennings can be found below.  I look forward to seeing you all next week.

Audition Results

Congratulations to the 4th and 5th grade students who were selected to be a part of the 2015-2016 percussion ensemble and chorus.  Audition results are posted on the bulletin board outside of the music room.  The first chorus rehearsal will be held on Friday, September 11th, 2015 at 8 a.m in the music room.  The first percussion ensemble rehearsal will be held on Monday, September 14th, 2015 at 8 a.m. in the music room.  Students will receive a copy of the Fall rehearsal schedule for both groups at the first rehearsals.  I would like to thank all parents who allow their children to be a part of these ensembles.  Your support of the Forestville Road music program is invaluable!

Auditions

Auditions for chorus and percussion ensemble will be concluding tomorrow on Friday, September 4th, 2015.  Students can come in from 8:45 to 9:15 in the morning to audition for either ensemble.
